Syncope

What is Syncope?

Syncope is a medical Phenomena that occurs in the human blood vessels where the vessels of the inferior vena cava expand, allowing massive amounts of blood to rush into the brain causing the person to faint. Not much research has been conducted on the pressure difference creating this phenomena. The main purpose of this Solid Rocket Motor was to measure the pressure within a silicone mold filled with a saline solution to replicate the conditions of blood vessels within a single Cubesat Payload profile. This payload contained:
  • x12 BME280 Pressure Sensors
  • x1 Multiplexer Chip
  • x1 ATMEGA328p-AU
